Principal NoteLobos Family,

As we work  hard to ensure every student in our school meets or exceeds their academic growth goals, we are simultaneously pursuing community excellence. This means that all members of the school community (students, families, and staff members) feel connected to what is happening inside the building and have real opportunities to make it better. With that said, I strongly encourage you to attend our first Family Council meeting of the school year. More details below. Your ideas and opinions have the power to push us forward towards excellence!

Participate in Family CouncilTuesday, October 12, 2021 @ 5 PM–6PM

All parents/guardians are invited to attend our first Family Council meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 5 PM.

Family Council brings together families, staff, and community members to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within a school. This committee meets every month throughout the school year and is an opportunity to engage directly with our principal on important school issues.

If you are interested in participating, please RSVP here to receive a reminder.
Winter WeatherThe weather will bring ice and snow soon. If the weather is bad, please check dpsk12.org, striveprep.org, and/or your local news channel to see if we are doing a delayed start or snow day.
Dismissal SupervisionWe provide dismissal supervision on the south side of the school, where we help students safely cross the line of traffic and get into their car along Warren Avenue. We do not supervise areas east or north of school. You can pick your student up wherever you choose. Please know that the official dismissal area with supervision is south of the school.
