Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) is an innovative, public charter school network. We educate students in prekindergarten through fifth grade with the rigorous academic preparation, character development, and individualized support necessary to succeed in a four-year college and life. Our values-driven culture combined with a college-prep curriculum drives our scholars to success. RMP scholars and staff work hard to uphold our core PEAK values – Perseverance, Excellence, Adventure, and Kindness – on a daily basis.
Charter schools are public schools. They are free to attend, do not have special entrance requirements, are part of the state school system, and are accountable to the district and state for their results.
Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) has four locations, three in Denver and one in Aurora:
RMP Berkeley is located at 3752 Tennyson St, Denver, CO 80212.
RMP Creekside is located at 7808 Cherry Creek South Drive #3-300 Denver, CO 80231. The school is located near the intersection of Quebec St. and Evans Ave.
RMP Fletcher is located at 10455 East 25th Avenue, Aurora, CO 80010 across the street from the Moorhead Community Center.
RMP Southwest is located on the garden level of Kepner Middle School by the soccer field at 911 South Hazel Ct., Denver, CO 80219.
RMP has an extended school year, which means more time for our scholars to learn. We do not always follow the Denver Public Schools or Aurora Public Schools calendars, except in the case of school closure for inclement weather.
RMP Berkeley offers two bus routes in Northwest Denver. Please contact us for additional information.
RMP Creekside currently provides limited bus services at local apartment complexes. Bus seats for newly accepted students will be determined through a lottery if the amount of interest exceeds the capacity available on the bus.
RMP Fletcher currently has transportation available for students living in the Fletcher Enrollment Zone.
RMP Southwest does not currently provide bus transportation.
RMP has full-time special education teachers on staff, who work in conjunction with teachers and families to support students with special education needs. Additional Special Education services are also provided by Denver Public Schools, including a Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, and Social Worker.
In prekindergarten, our classrooms have 16 scholars with two teachers (a lead teacher and a teaching fellow). In kindergarten and above, our classrooms range from 22-30 scholars. Much of our instruction in literacy and math is done in small groups of 10-14.
All RMP schools are public charter schools that follow the DPS SchoolChoice process (RMP Berkeley, RMP Creekside, RMP Southwest) and the APS Open Enrollment process (RMP Fletcher). There are no entrance exams. Kindergarten and above is tuition-free, and scholarships are available for our prekindergarten programs.

PEAK Party is a weekly celebration of our PEAK Values: Perseverance, Excellence, Adventure, and Kindness. Scholars are recognized for their demonstration of these values throughout the week and over the course of the school year. Families are welcome to attend PEAK Parties.
RMP offers a wide array of after-school enrichment opportunities such as chess, theater, soccer, football, cooking, languages, yoga, music, and many others. Enrichment programming is designed according to parent and student interest and varies by school and community. We offer need-based scholarships so that all scholars can participate in enrichment activities.
