STRIVE Prep - Green Valley Ranch will be moving to a fully remote learning model for the remainder of this week, beginning Wednesday, January 5 and continuing through Friday, January 7, 2022. In person classes will resume at STRIVE Prep - Green Valley Ranch on Monday, January 10.
The Omicron variant of COVID-19 has had a significant impact across the country and has hit our school community especially hard. As a result, there are staffing shortages and we believe the best way we can provide a safe and productive learning environment is through a hybrid model where few students are in-person and our primary instruction for students is online. During this period, STRIVE Prep will focus on providing high quality virtual instruction to all students.
What you need to do:
- If your child was in school today, they will be sent home with their Chromebook and charging plug. If your child was absent today, you may pick up their Chromebook today or tomorrow until 6 pm at the STRIVE Prep - Green Valley Ranch campus (4800 Telluride Street, Bldg 5: The one with the blue top across from Starbucks).
- Students will have the same schedule virtually that they have in-person. Spend time with your child reviewing their remote learning schedule.
- Create a dedicated learning space at home for your child and ensure that students use their headphones to reduce distractions. We are working on securing hotspots (portable devices which provide Internet access)and will share an update on this tomorrow, January 5.
- If your child needs technical support with their Chromebook or Internet access, please complete the Chromebook support form and our Admin team will call your family. The form is also linked as the 2nd banner image when you open up the Flyer Connect App.

Como saben, la variante Omicron de COVID-19 ha tenido un impacto importante en el país y ha afectado a nuestra comunidad escolar de una manera muy fuerte. Como resultado, creemos que la mejor manera de proporcionar un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro y productivo es con un modelo híbrido, donde pocos estudiantes estén en persona y nuestras clases principales para los estudiantes sean en línea.
