RMP CERTIFIED AS A “POWERED BY COMPASS” SCHOOL

Students interacting class

Over the last few years, our school has partnered with Valor Collegiate in Nashville to implement Valor’s comprehensive human development model, Compass Circles.

We are excited to share that as of this summer we’ve been designated a certified Powered by Compass school!

This certification signifies our deep commitment to comprehensive development for both students and staff, and designates our schools as implementing these systems and structures at a high level to ensure the best outcomes for our entire community.

Compass Circles is a comprehensive human development model with a growing evidence base that demonstrates embodied and relational implementation of skills, correlating to measurable outcomes for both students and adults in connection & belonging, self-kindness, integrity, student-teacher relationships, and coping.

We are particularly proud of how our team continued to implement this program even while our students participated in virtual learning. Be sure to check out this story from CBS4 Denver for more about how we adapted this program to the challenges of last school year.

Please join us in celebrating this accomplishment for our entire community! Learn more about the Circle practice in this blog post.
