GRATITUDE FROM OUR SOUTHWEST STUDENTS

After an immensely challenging year and a half, one of the things I’m most thankful for is being back in person with the incredible students that make up our RMP Southwest community.

I could write a novel about the many ways our students are amazing, but rather than hear from me, I thought it best to share some of the wonderful things they told me they are grateful for this year:

  • Damian in Kindergarten shared: “I am grateful for my friends. I like helping them and playing with them at recess.”
  • Emily in Kindergarten shared: “I am thankful for my family because they love me and they are buying me all of the dolls for my birthday!”
  • Aariyelle in Fourth Grade is: “Grateful for my family and school because I get to learn and I love my family and they love me too!”
  • Jaxon in Fourth Grade shared: “I'm grateful for dogs and having a room, having an Xbox. I'm grateful for those things because some people can't get them. I don't break them and it makes me feel happy and I can play new games.”

As you can see, there is much to be grateful for this year!

Thank you to our students, teachers, staff, and families who make RMP Southwest the incredible place it is. I am so thankful for each of you!
