Principal NoteLobos Family,
Thank you to everyone who attended the Back to School Carnival! We hope that you were able to enjoy a slice of pizza, play some carnival games, and get to know our incredible team of teachers a little bit better. Know that we are thrilled to be in this work alongside you! We would appreciate it if you could take 1 minute to fill out our feedback survey on the event.
Somos Lobos!

Back to School Carnival PhotosView a photo slideshow here! We were so happy to welcome more than 300 people to the Back to School Carnival (100+ students and 200+ family members). We hope to see you all at our upcoming Family Council meeting on October 12 from 5-6pm.
A Message from Mr. Spencer on Social MediaAs of recently, we are learning that social media and cell phone usage play a huge role in how our students talk about and engage in negative talk and behaviors.  We know that social media is being used to  spread disrespectful messages about our student body.  Please be aware of your child’s usage and engagement on social media platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, and personal messenger. We are asking you to have a conversation with your child in regards to not gossiping, not participating, passing, or engaging in any conversations surrounding negative behaviors or events that can arise in the world of our students.  As a parent I would encourage you to check your child's phone regularly at this age to ensure they are making healthy decisions.

Our goal at Strive Federal is to ensure that all students have the right to feel respected, be heard, feel safe, and supported by caring adults.  In order for this to happen we all have to continue to work together as a community in all aspects of our student’s educational experience.  Please never hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns that you feel we can support you on.

October Count Day & School FundingColorado’s official October Count Day is Friday, October 1, 2021. It is very important for your student to attend school that day. We receive funding for each student who is present on Count Day. This is the main way our schools are funded, which means your student’s attendance that day pays for teachers, social workers, nurses, books, sports, Chromebooks, classroom materials, field trips, and much more.
