Principal NoteLobos Family,

On Wednesday, DPS Superintendent Dr. Marrero and President of the Board of Education Xóchitl Gaytán met with our students and visited our classrooms. Our students did a great job of showcasing why this school is so special. This visit marks another milestone in our commitment to achieving community excellence!

13 school days remaining. Let’s finish strong!

Somos Lobos,
Mr. Lenzmeier and Mr. Barrett
Early Bird RegistrationEarly Bird Registration for next school year closes on Friday, May 20. This is an opportunity to register now to save yourself time in the Fall. Registration is mandatory for all students each year.

So far, 130 of our students have registered for next year, which is the most we have ever had registered in May! If you need any help, email federaloffice@striveprep.org or call us.
Culture UpdateFamilies,

As we are finishing up this school year, we want to continue to support your children and finish the year strong.  As a school we are focusing on creating a culture of safety and respect for all students in the building.  As of late there has been an increase of social media posts from students that are filming things at school.  As we are working to hold students accountable for their actions, we are asking families to please discuss the importance of appropriate usage of social media sites and cell phone usage at school.

Our expectation here at STRIVE Prep is that students do not use their phones, or have out, or on during the school day.  Phones should be away in backpacks or turned in at the beginning of the day.  If students are found to be using their cell phone during the day at school, an adult will take the phone and return at the end of day. Thank you for your continued support!
Science FairFamilies,

I invite you to our Science Fair. This will take place on May 18th from 8-11 AM in the cafeteria.  Below is when each grade will be presenting:

9:15-9:45 - 8th
10:15-10:45 - 7th

Please feel free to attend for a short time or for the whole event.  Hope to see many of you there!
