Principal NoteLobos Family,

Join us on Tuesday, November 9 at 4pm for our Storytelling event and for the Family Council meeting that follows. Our students are excited to show what they’ve been working on in English Language Arts and Speech & Debate!

Next Friday we are excited to have our Fall Dance! It will take place from 3-5pm. Students will buy tickets using $75 Bonus Bucks that they’ve earned from their excellence as members of our community. This will be a fun opportunity for us to celebrate together!

Carpeted Area (Basement)

We are excited to host our first FED Storytelling event where several 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade scholars will be sharing personal narratives that they have been writing in ELA. We encourage all families to attend and experience what your students learn about in class.

Refreshments and Spanish interpretation will be provided. Enter through the cafeteria doors on the west side of our building. Our November Family Council will immediately follow the event at 5 PM. We hope to see everyone there!
Break Time in the BarnWe are lucky to have access to Skyline Soccer’s Red Soccer Barn to use for PE classes as well as mid-day break time. This week, we reviewed expectations for the Barn with students, including how to safely play sports, how to respect the equipment, and how to leave the space as clean as we found it. Below is a photo of Mr. Spencer speaking with our 8th graders about this. Please talk with your student about break time in the Barn!
