With election season in full swing, we wanted to provide our community with information about how they can cast their ballot in this year’s election. Your voice matters, and we want to make sure our community has the chance to make our voices heard. Please join us in making a PLEDGE TO VOTE in this November 3rd election!

Make a plan to vote by Tuesday, November 3, by following these three easy steps:

  1. Register to vote* or double-check your voter registration.

    • This can be done with the Colorado Secretary of State at GoVoteColorado.com. If you are registering online, you will need a valid Colorado driver's license or state-issued ID card from the Colorado Department of Revenue. You can also register to vote in-person on Election Day.
  2. Receive your ballot.

    • Counties will begin mailing ballots to those who are registered on Oct. 9. If you register to vote by Oct. 26, you will receive your ballot in the mail.
  3. Vote!

    • Option 1: Return your ballot in person. Once you’ve completed your ballot, you can drop it off for free at a nearby ballot drop box or polling location. Find your closest drop-off point here.
    • Option 2: Return your ballot by mail. This requires postage and that you put your ballot in the mail no later than October 26 to ensure your ballot is counted.
    • Option 3: Vote in person. Bring an acceptable form of identification to any polling location to vote in person before 7pm on November 3.

*To register to vote in Colorado, you must:

  • be a citizen of the United States;
  • be a resident of Colorado 22 days prior to Election Day;
  • be 18 years old on or before Election Day; and
  • not be serving a sentence of detention, confinement, or parole for a felony conviction.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Rocky Mountain Prep cannot support or oppose candidates for public office; our role in elections is to encourage civic participation and promote voter education in our community.
