RMP VOTES: BOARD OF DIRECTORS PASSES BALLOT MEASURE RESOLUTIONS

RMP Board of Directors Ballot Resolutions Blog SY21

This election, Coloradans will have a chance to decide what resources will be made available for our children and schools to reach their full potential.

That’s why the Rocky Mountain Prep Board of Directors recently approved resolutions in support of two initiatives on this November’s ballot: the DPS Bond and Mill Levy and Colorado Amendment B

The DPS Bond and Mill Levy -- 4A and 4B -- is asking Denver voters to consider two measures: a $795 million bond that would provide funding to build and maintain schools, and a $32 million Debt-Free Schools ballot initiative that would provide operating dollars to fund priorities such as mental health, nursing, and special education supports. Learn more on the DPS website.

Colorado Amendment B will help our students and teachers succeed by limiting local budget cuts. Amendment B is a bipartisan plan to protect small businesses from higher property taxes and to save schools, first responders, and rural communities from deeper budget cuts -- all without increasing the property tax rate for homeowners. Learn more about it on the Yes on Amendment B website.

Please join us in making a PLEDGE TO VOTE in this November 3rd election! Make a plan to vote by Tuesday, November 3, by following the three easy steps on our blog.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Rocky Mountain Prep cannot support or oppose candidates for public office; our role in elections is to encourage civic participation and promote voter education in our community. The Rocky Mountain Prep Board of Directors can, however, pass resolutions advocating for or against particular issues on the ballot.
