Mask Mandate Extended through April 29

April 08, 2022
By admin

In an effort to continue keeping our students and staff safe, and based on feedback we have received from families, we will be extending the required mask-wearing through at least Friday, April 29.

After surveying families, results showed that more than half would like to keep the mask requirement in place. Many of these families also shared meaningful and powerful reasons for why masks are important for the safety and health of their child and family.

We understand continuing to require masks to be worn in our schools can be frustrating for some families, especially when so many places have returned to how it was before the pandemic. But COVID-19 is still a very real concern impacting our community and masks can be helpful in not spreading illness.

Your support and compliance with the mask requirement is very important and we appreciate all you do to help keep the entire community safe.

We will continue to assess and make future decisions for May based on public health information and family feedback. We will continue to share updates with you as decisions are made.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school communities safe during this time.
