In-person learning planned for the 2021-22 school year

May 21, 2021
By admin

As of now, our goal for next school year is to be 100% in-person for all students. We’ve learned that access to resources and the deep connections students have with in-person learning gives them the confidence and skills they need to be successful learners in school and in life. While remote learning has been necessary and even successful for many, it does not compare to the positive and lasting impact in-person learning has on students.

We know that a return to in-person learning brings new anxieties and fears, along with excitement. As we transition back to school buildings in full, we are committed as ever to keeping STRIVE Prep staff and students safe inside buildings. DPS and Denver Health have not defined what COVID-19 safety procedures will look like in schools in the fall, but whatever they are, our schools will be fully and enthusiastically compliant and will hold all members of our community accountable to keeping us all safe.

One of the most important aspects is STRIVE Prep’s commitment to challenging each of our students to learn to change the world. We remain committed to providing learning opportunities which prepare your child to accomplish the goals and dreams you’ve set for them. These commitments will continue in the 2021-22 school year, regardless of your child’s learning environment.

Thank you for all of the ways that you have supported the STRIVE Prep community during the past 14 months and trusting us with your child’s education. This has been a very difficult time and your commitment to your child’s education and your adaptability has been both significant and inspirational for us. We couldn’t have done it without you.

If you have questions or concerns about how the in-person learning model will meet the needs of your family, please complete this form, and someone will follow up with you. Our goal is to better understand your needs and partner on ways we can best support your child.

We will continue communicating more information as it becomes available, including school safety guidelines for next year.

Thank you for all you do to support your children and our schools.
