Sarah geeks out about the intersection of academics, school culture, operations, and talent strategy. She has spent the past 20 years working in and leading schools. Sarah began her career as a social worker supporting students living in and going to school in residential treatment facilities. After becoming concerned about the quality of education her clients were experiencing, she joined Teach For America to learn more. She taught 7th and 8th grade English in Philadelphia, PA, and Newark, NJ, before moving into school leadership at Uncommon Schools in Newark, NJ, and Boston, MA. Sarah was the principal of Roxbury Prep Lucy Stone when it was named a TNTP Greenhouse School in 2015. Before moving to Denver, Sarah developed and managed transformational leaders and turnaround schools in Boston.
