Sarah geeks out about the intersection of academics, school culture, operations, and talent strategy. She has spent the past 20 years working in and leading schools. Sarah began her career as a social worker supporting students living in and going to school in residential treatment facilities. Sarah decided she needed to learn to teach and lead schools that provide students we love the most because they need the most love with great academic opportunities so she joined Teach for America. She taught 7th and 8th grade English in Philadelphia, PA and Newark, NJ, before moving into school leadership at Uncommon Schools in Newark, NJ and Boston, MA. Sarah was principal of Roxbury Prep Lucy Stone when it was named a TNTP Greenhouse School in 2015. Most recently, Sarah has developed and managed transformational leaders and turnaround schools in Boston Public Schools at TNTP and UP Education Network.

Sarah also enjoys skiing fast, walking slowly up mountains with her crazy dog, Jordan, taking pictures, and eating all the tasty things.
