Camilla oversees Rocky Mountain Prep’s principal cohort and the central academic team. She began her educational career 16 years ago teaching elementary school in the Bronx when she was a member of the New York City Teaching Fellows. She joined Achievement First as a founding teacher at Achievement First Crown Heights Elementary. She served as the first academic dean for third and fourth grade. Camilla then served as principal for seven years. Camilla graduated from Vassar College with a double major in Film and Sociology. She received her master’s in education from Fordham University.
